Here is the complete NEET 2018 syllabus for physics, chemistry, biology. The NEET syllabus for CBSE NEET UG 2018 being held on 6th May 2018, topics are same as last year. Medical aspirants should see the official NEET 2018 syllabus and prepare all the topics that are in it. CBSE is conducting NEET for MBBS and BDS admissions to all colleges in India except AIIMS and JIPMER. Candidates appearing in the exam should study all topics as per syllabus to have better chances of being able to answer any question in exam and score more marks. You can see that the table (above) contains names of the topics. Whereas the PDF contains sub-topics also. So it is a good idea to download the PDF and read complete syllabus.

Tip: When you complete syllabus you must revise it. This is because you may have forgotten what you had studied some weeks ago. Also solve several past year papers.

Exam pattern

The exam has 3 sections namely Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Students need to attempt questions from all the 3 sections and score minimum cut off marks in order to become eligible for the counseling process.

Question type: All questions are MCQ type.

The number of questions: Candidates appearing for NEET 2018 will be required to attempt 180 objective type questions. There will be 45 questions each from Physics and Chemistry and 90 questions from Biology.

Time: 3 hours

Language: Paper is going to be in language opted (English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Oriya, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu).

Marks: A correct answer fetches 4 marks. For an incorrect answer, there is negative marking of 1 mark. Physics and Chemistry sections are of 180 marks each and Biology section accounts for 360 marks.

Every year a large number of candidates take the test with the desire to get admission in medical or dental colleges of India. But only a few get selected because of tough competition and few seats. Therefore, a candidate should know the complete syllabus for the exam to prepare properly and get admission in MBBS/ BDS colleges.

After checking the syllabus applicants will be able to know the topics which they need to revise. Moreover, a candidate must keep in mind that syllabus of NEET 2018 is based on the syllabus which they have covered in 11th and 12th. This will make the preparation lot easier and chances of selection will increase manyfold.
