A lot of times, it may appear to be but the reality is when you start following the schedule for a couple of days, you will become comfortable as time passes. The preparation strategy for NEET 2019 should be the same like AIPMT. The key is to follow recommended books (NCERT).

If you are a NEET aspirant, you should ensure that all your basic concepts are clear. Also along with that work upon your accuracy and speed. It is important that your basics of all the topics are clear and that you can tackle easy to moderate level problems in less than 3 minutes. Sometimes, easier questions can be solved in seconds, giving you more time for difficult questions or topics which you didn’t prepare that well. Prepare a timetable allotting time to all the subjects. Do not invest excessive time to any subject.

TIP-1 Focus on Concepts, Practice, Speed, Accuracy.

Subject wise books and study strategy for NEET 2019

Students enrolled in 11th class for this year are probably jumbled, because it’s a new kingdom for them all of a sudden. But do not worry stay calm. Give some time to yourself. The toughest part will probably be the first 3 months after that you will start getting the hang of things. So let;s see the topics that you will need to focus more upon when your session begins. We don’t want you guys to get caught up in the situation that whether you should start working upon topics that we have mentioned here or the topics that are being taught in the class. We would suggest that study the topics what your teachers starts first.  NEET consists question paper containing questions from three subjects mainly i.e PCB. we have mentioned in this article, subject wise marks distribution along with best books to read from and a some tips to enhance your strategy to cover each subject.

Chemistry

Chemistry is divided into 3 parts- (i) Organic Chemistry, (ii) Inorganic Chemistry, (iii) and Physical Chemistry. The total weightage that is given to chemistry in NEET is 180 marks and each part is given equal weightage which means that from each part around 60 questions are asked. Each correct answer fetches 4 marks.

(i) Organic Chemistry

This analysis is based on the data of the past 4 years. In Organic Chemistry, You need to study all reaction mechanisms and remember all named reactions.

TIP-2 Study the chapter and make notes while you study each chapter.

The most important chapters are:-

  • General Organic Chemistry
  • Aromatic Compounds and Phenol
  • Alcohol
  • Alkanes and Alkynes
  • Nitrogen and its compounds

(ii) Inorganic Chemistry

The most important topics in the inorganic chemistry are

  • Coordination Compounds
  • Periodic Properties
  • Chemical Bonding
  • P and D block elements

If you have covered these 4 topics then you would have covered 50% of the Inorganic Chemistry

TIP-3 Cover the mentioned topics first.

(iii) Physical Chemistry

The most important chapters are

  • Chemical and Ionic Equilibrium
  • Solutions and Colligative Properties
  • Atomic Structure
  • Electrochemistry

After you are done with these chapters, write down all equations from the chapter in a notebook for speedy reference while solving problems.
